A Keloid Consultation is the first step in determining the most appropriate care plan. During this visit, a healthcare professional will evaluate the keloid’s location, size, appearance, symptoms, development, and severity. 

The consultation will also include a review of the patient’s medical history and previous treatments.  Based on the evaluation, the provider will explain the available treatment options, discuss realistic expectations, and recommend a personalized plan. Treatment is not selected until the keloid has been properly assessed.
